Routine Cleaning

Detach the leash from the dog and remove loose dirt.

Wipe the handle and hardware with a soft damp cloth and mild soap.

Spot-clean the rope with cool or lukewarm water and mild soap. Do not soak moving hardware unless instructions expressly permit it.

Rinse soap residue from cleaned surfaces.

Air dry fully in a ventilated area away from direct heat and prolonged intense sunlight.

Machine wash or machine dry unless the product label expressly permits it.

Use bleach, solvents, harsh disinfectants, abrasive cleaners, oils, or unapproved lubricants.

Place in a dishwasher, oven, microwave, or on a heater.

Paint, dye, cut, sew, melt, disassemble, or modify any component.

Storage
Store clean, completely dry, loosely arranged, and away from pets, children, direct sunlight, chemicals, sharp objects, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Do not store under prolonged tension.
Replacement
Replace the product whenever inspection reveals damage or function is uncertain, regardless of age. Product life varies with frequency, dog behavior, load, environment, maintenance, and storage. A warranty period is not a safe-use-life guarantee.
